In the world of technology, there are tons of different gadgets on the market. There are phones, computers, cameras, game consoles and more. But what if you’re looking for something different than all of those? What if you want a device that is specifically designed to help you get in shape and improve your overall health? If so, then you should check out the Amazfit Bip.

This smartwatch is specifically designed with exercise in mind. It monitors your steps, heart rate, distance traveled and much more.

What is the Amazfit Bip?

The Amazfit Bip is a wrist-worn fitness tracker that works with both iOS and Android phones. It’s a fitness band that’s designed to be worn all day long, not just while working out. The Bip tracks your steps, distance traveled, calories burned, heart rate, and sleeping patterns.

The Bip also has some smartwatch functionality. You can receive notifications for texts, calls, and other alerts from your phone. It has a built-in vibration motor, so it can vibrate when you receive a notification. The Bip has about two days of battery life before it needs to be charged again.

Monitor your heart rate and other stats

You can monitor your heart rate using Bip’s built-in heart rate sensor. You can do this manually by putting your finger over the sensor or setting the device to take your heart rate every couple of hours throughout the day.

When you manually take your heart rate, you can see what your heart rate zone is and how many calories you’ve burned based on your heart rate. If you have your heart rate zones set up on your phone, you can see your heart rate zones on the Bip as well.

The Bip also tracks daily steps, distance traveled, calories burned, and amount of time spent exercising. It can also track your sleeping patterns. This device syncs to your phone via Bluetooth and the Amazfit app to show all of this information.

Track your runs and walks

The Bip can track how far you’ve walked or run. To do this, you’ll want to go into the “Exercise” section of the app to select the type of activity you want to track. You can also set a specific length for your walk or run, so the Bip knows when to stop tracking.

While the Bip can track your distance, it doesn’t have GPS built-in. If you want to see your route on a map and know your exact distance, you’ll need to have your phone with you while walking or running. The Bip can also track your pace while walking or running.

You can see your pace at a glance on your Bip’s display. This is a really helpful feature if you use this device while running. You can keep your phone in your pocket and still know your current pace.

Heart Rate Monitor/GPS Tracking/Sleep Monitor/Alarm Clock

The heart rate monitor on the Amazfit Bip is pretty accurate. It will measure your heart rate 24/7 and tell you how many steps you take in a day.

The GPS tracking works great, too. It can track your runs or bike rides without a smartphone nearby!

It's also got a sleep tracker that tells you how long it takes for you to fall asleep at night as well as what time you woke up. That way, if anything is wrong with your sleeping habits then maybe it'll give some tips about how to improve them!

It's also nice because there are no cables or wires involved with this smartwatch... so no more tangled chords!

Health Tracker

You can track your heart rate, steps and distance traveled. The watch also monitors sleep patterns, so you'll know how much time you spend in light sleep versus deep sleep.

This can help you better understand how well rested your body feels after waking up. Additionally, it has an alarm clock that wakes you up gently with vibrations instead of a loud buzzer or beep.

Battery Life and Connectivity

The battery life on the amazfit bip is up to 30 days with smartwatch mode, and 60 hours with GPS mode. This is thanks to the use of a 240mAh battery, which is pretty great for a device that has so many features.

The Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity enables you to connect with your phone easily, as well as other connected devices around you. You can also track your heart rate using it!

Pros and cons of the Amazfit Bip

The Bip is a great fitness tracker for anyone looking for a simple, no-frills device. It’s got a sleek design, is easy to use, and is very affordable. There are a few downsides to this device, though.

Pros

  • The Bip has a very long battery life – up to a mounth on a single charge. You don’t have to charge it very often.
  • The Bip tracks a lot of information that other fitness trackers don’t track, like your sleep patterns and resting heart rate.
  • This device is very affordable, is durable, and is water-resistant.

Cons

  • The Bip doesn’t have built-in GPS, so you’ll have to have your phone with you while running.
  • The Bip doesn’t have smart features like a built-in GPS and can’t make calls or send texts.
  • The Bip isn’t very stylish and doesn’t come in different colors.

Final thoughts

The Amazfit Bip smartwatch is a great entry level smartwatch. It has all the basic features anyone would need from a watch and then some. The only downside is that it lacks some of the advanced features like GPS tracking and notification support. However, if you are looking for something that looks good on your wrist without costing too much then this may be worth considering as an option
